Harlod Thompson Oklahoma

Harlod Thompson Oklahoma, originally uploaded by Josh Gentry.

Saw Jae taking this picture first, and stole the composition from her. Little cliche, but there's a reason its done over and over.

This cemetery is a couple blocks from our house. On Memorial Day, Jae and I put flowers on any of the soldiers, graves that were a James, Edward or William. Also anyone from Illinois or Pennsylvania.

You desaturated and altered the contracts/brightness?

No scan is ever quite like what you scanned. With the B & W there's no color correcting, but they usually seem a little underexposed looking. I tend to up the contrast in GIMP. In fact, the print I have of this the contrast is yet higher.

Agreed. I think almost all B&W shots need contrast adjustment, and that includes my film shots.

I like this, graveyards are very photogenic.
