I noticed that James is sticking his tongue out at your book of poetry. Perhaps he would like Dr. Seuss' "And to Think That It Happened on Mulberry Street". I read that one to you so many times that I had it memorized. Love, Mom
Jae reads him Dr. Seuss every day, and "And to Think That It Happened on Mulberry Street" is one of the 7 we have. I read it to him yesterday for the first time :-)

Now don't go jumping to conclusions. He likes his Lewis Carol and ee cummings, both from that volume. I'm less certain about the Shakespeare, Yeats, and Shelley, but we'll see.
This photo reminded me of the Marine Corps SSGT at Northwestern handing his first male offspring things to the boys left hand because "left handed athletes are in more demand."
I could have compared to a certain politico so indoctrinating his son that in fourth grade he "corrected" his teacher about some misconception she had regarding the presidential debate the night before. But I think those things are really very different.
Completely different. No similarity.
