These pictures were the germination of my interest in photography. I took them a few years ago, and I must confess they were taken with an all automatic digital, so I didn't handle the tricky exposure in the intense sun. I plan to take a bunch more in the same vein, so that will be interesting.

I said found before cheating to look at the answer, just cuz I didn't figure you'd stage it half in that odd shadow.
I'm really liking the feel of these natural found abstracts. Exposures are tough in that sun, I bet!

Remember to get out in the really early morning on some of these. The texture on the stone would be great with the sun at the right angle.
Yep. The trick is getting out there that early.
